Consulting Systems Engineer

US Citizenship Required and the ability to pass a background check.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and technical sales skills.

5 - 10 years of technical enterprise presales experience with a focus on solution sales.

Previous technical presales experience into Federal government.

Background in IRS, Treasury, and Fed Financial accounts is preferred.

Consultative solution selling skillsets to include Cisco RS and Unified Communications.

Solid Cisco Route/Switch foundation. Passion for driving Cisco solutions. Cisco CCIE preferred.

Relevant SAN, Server, and Backup/Recovery certifications are highly desired.

Knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications is a plus.

Experience with F5, VMware are highly desired.

Must understand federal procurement process (RFI, RFP, etc.).

Self-driven, business-minded, and goal orientated.

Ability to travel within region and as needed to support customer accounts.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $182,000 to $234,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure, and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation such as bonuses or commissions that is not included in the base salary.
