Job Summary:
Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements | Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data | Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost | Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes | May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements

Essential Functions:
- Studies organizational processes and operations and develops quality and efficiency improvements.
- Evaluates internal processes and identifies opportunities for improvements.
- Gathers data for key performance indicators for functions being reviewed, evaluates current state, and proposes future state goals and objectives.
- Measures results of implemented improvement strategies and modifies continuous improvement programs in response.
- Assists in the development and delivery of continuous improvement related training programs.

Required Qualifications:
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Business, Engineering, Operations or related field preferred
- Additional certifications: Lean, Six Sigma, or related certification preferred.
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Problem management. Judgement. Detail oriented. Attentiveness. Project management skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
- Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 25% travel likely.
