The Essentials

• Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full-Time 40 hours per week | 8AM-4:30PM
• Location: Fairlawn, OH
• Specialty: Supply Chain

What You'll Do

• Research, evaluate, and analyze contracts, pricing agreements, and proposals for implants, medical supplies, surgical products, equipment, and related services across the organization.
• Collaborate with department leaders, physicians, and vendors to assess product needs, conduct market research, and evaluate new products and purchasing opportunities.
• Lead negotiations for local contracts and pricing agreements while researching product specifications, availability of GPO contracts, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and manage contracts, requests for proposals (RFPs), quote comparisons, and pricing documentation while maintaining organized records of all agreements and proposals.
• Prepare detailed cost analyses, contract comparisons, and utilization reports using Excel and other analytical tools to support purchasing decisions, standardization efforts, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain contract and pricing data within the Materials Management Information System (MMIS), ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Coordinate Supply Chain and Finance special projects by assigning tasks, organizing meetings, tracking progress, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize ethical purchasing practices while building strong working relationships with organizational leaders, staff, and vendors to support operational effectiveness and communication.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of contract management, contract analysis, or contracting experience required. Healthcare supply chain experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical and financial evaluation skills with demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, cost analysis, purchasing practices, and supplier management. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook required.
• Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare purchasing policies and procedures, compliance requirements, bidding processes, financing, accounting principles, and group purchasing organization (GPO) contracts preferred.
