CBRE Full Spectrum Lab Services provides end to end scientific support for clients across life sciences, manufacturing, and other industries. We partner with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, healthcare, food and beverage producers, automotive and tooling innovators, and both contract research organizations (CROs) and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to keep their operations running at peak performance.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Contract Analyst, you will support the review and administration of contracts for outsourced services covering scientific laboratory equipment from Original Equipment Manufacturers and Individual Service Organizations. You will maintain contract records, track key dates and prepare the analysis that supports the sourcing team.

This job is part of the Procurement function under CBRE Scientific Solutions, Life Science Line of Business. The team is responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from suppliers.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with business stakeholders, operational services team members and sourcing leads to keep contract activity on schedule.
  • Prepare, review and process contracts, amendments and other business documents in support of the purchase of goods and services.
  • Track contract terminations, expirations, extensions and renewals. Notify peers, end users and client stakeholders ahead of key dates and of changes in contracts.
  • Compile supplier performance reporting against the KPIs set with the client, and highlight gaps.
  • Analyze account-wide lab contract services spend, suppliers, operations and statements of work to identify savings opportunities.
  • Support RFx events by preparing documents, collecting supplier responses and summarizing results for review. Check that contracts adhere to company and industry standards.
  • Model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. Exchange information with suppliers and stakeholders clearly and professionally.
  • Apply working knowledge of contract administration to support team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify and resolve routine day-to-day issues, escalating exceptions and non-standard terms to senior colleagues.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Contract Analyst is $65,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Contract Analyst position is $80,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
