Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution

Certifications Requirements:

  • MT PT License
  • BLS certification
  • Fresh CPR certification preferred but not mandatory

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital or SNF experience
  • Proven track record working in fast-paced hospital or SNF settings
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently

Other Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, with schedule discussions upon interview
  • Physical ability to perform therapy duties and assist patients as needed

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality physical therapy services to hospital patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Assess patient conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and modify them as needed to optimize recovery
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of therapy services
  • Document patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and post-treatment care
