This position is Monday through Saturday, 7 hours a day and 79 miles round. We are looking for a neighborly, dependable person to join us as a Contract Mail Carrier. You will be the face of our company, winding through the picturesque hills and valleys of our region to connect people with what they need. Salary Range: $18.76 - $24.31 per hour

Responsibilities

Sort and load mail and packages at our central facility each morning.

Navigate a set route through the beautiful, winding roads of Charlemont to deliver items directly to residents and businesses.

Ensure all mail is handled with care and delivered to the correct destination on time.

Maintain accurate delivery logs and provide friendly, professional service to the folks on your route.

Perform routine checks on your delivery vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.

Report any road hazards or delivery obstacles to the main office to keep operations running smoothly.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Reliable personal vehicle suitable for navigating rural routes.

Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.

Strong organizational skills for managing route logs and timelines.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Vehicle with 120 cubic feet of cargo space.REQUIRED

Knowledge of Charlemont and surrounding Franklin County roads is helpful but not strictly required.
