Contract Recruiter (Retail Operations)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Contract Recruiter to support a large-scale retail hiring initiative. This role will focus on full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hourly positions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and experienced in managing aggressive hiring targets while delivering a strong candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hourly retail roles
- Source, screen, and present qualified candidates in a timely manner
- Maintain a consistent onsite presence to partner with hiring managers and support daily staffing needs
- Represent the organization at career fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate pipelines effectively
- Ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Meet hiring goals, including staffing a large number of positions within a defined timeline
- Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with operations and leadership teams
Required Qualifications:
- 35+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume environments
- Experience recruiting for retail, hospitality, or similar fast-paced industries preferred
- Strong sourcing skills with a proactive, hunter mentality
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize effectively
- Experience supporting hiring events and conducting in-person interviews
- Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Positive attitude with strong relationship-building skills
