Job Description
This position is contingent upon contract award and funding. Employment will not commence unless and until the contract is awarded and funding is confirmed.
Anglin Consulting Group is seeking experienced Contract Specialist to provide acquisition support to a federal government client. Personnel must possess a skill set substantially similar to the OPM 1102 series with competence equivalent to a mid-to-senior level federal contract specialist. This position supports the full spectrum of pre-award and post-award contracting activities in accordance with federal acquisition regulations and agency policies. This role requires operating on Japan Standard Time (JST) business hours.
Conduct market research and assist in acquisition planning
Prepare and issue solicitation documents, including RFQs, RFPs, and IFBs
Develop source selection plans and evaluation criteria
Perform cost and price analysis
Assist in evaluation of proposals and quotations
Prepare contract award documentation for Government execution
Administer contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
Monitor contractor performance and document performance issues
Process contract modifications
Review and process invoices for payment
Assist in resolution of claims and disputes
Perform contract closeout procedures
Produce professional acquisition documentation in accordance with federal requirements
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Minimum four (4) years of experience in federal contracting
Thorough understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable supplements
Demonstrated experience supporting both pre-award and post-award activities
Strong written and oral communication skills
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to pass a federal background investigation
