Contract Veterinarian Mobile Clinic Florida

Care when it counts - from wherever you practice.

At Dutch, we're on a mission to make high-quality veterinary care more accessible, affordable, and supportive - for both pets and the professionals who care for them. We believe care shouldn't be limited by clinic hours or commute distance.

With Dutch, veterinary professionals can connect with clients for real advice, real prescriptions, and real impact - all from the comfort of home, supported by tools like our in-house EMR and digital workflows that help you focus on patient care.

Backed by leading investors, Dutch provides the stability and resources to support our team in delivering the highest standard of telemedicine care.

We're currently seeking experienced veterinarians to join our growing team as independent contractors for in-person vaccine events, operating on Saturdays and Sundays, and we're lucky to work with some of the best veterinarians in the country.

This is a flexible opportunity, ideal for tech-savvy, client-focused veterinarians who want to make a real impact in veterinary medicine.

What You'll Do

• Wellness Care: Provide routine wellness and vaccination services for dogs and cats.
• Vaccine Administration: Review vaccine history, determine appropriate vaccine schedules, and administer or supervise vaccine administration as permitted by state regulations.
• Pre-Vaccination Assessment: Perform brief physical exams, confirm vaccines are appropriate, and establish a VCPR when required.
• Diagnostic Testing: Review and interpret SNAP test results and provide appropriate recommendations when results are abnormal.
• Preventative Care: Recommend appropriate parasite prevention and other preventative care based on each pet's needs.
• Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records and complete all required documentation, including rabies certificates.
• Adverse Reaction Management: Monitor for vaccine reactions and respond appropriately, including following the designated after-hours emergency hospital/referral plan when needed.
• Client Education: Educate pet owners on vaccine recommendations, expected reactions, parasite prevention, and general wellness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure a safe, efficient, and positive client experience.
• Client Care: Provide empathetic, high-quality care while following clinical protocols and adapting to each pet's individual needs.
• Professional Growth: Continuously develop your clinical skills, with opportunities for responsibilities to expand over time.
• Onsite Commitment: Remain onsite for the duration of the scheduled vaccine clinic.

What Makes This Role Unique

• Support- Each team has a veterinarian, a vet technician, and a customer service representative. Busier routes also have additional customer service representatives and vet assistants.
• New environments- We visit multiple locations per day
• Flexible scheduling- Events are held on weekends; Saturdays and Sundays only. You choose which days work best.
• Competitive pay rate- Set hourly rate
• Vet-designed platform- Built to support clinical focus, not increase admin burden
• Expanding Access to Care- Increase access to veterinary services by seeing scheduled appointments and accommodating walk-in patients when appropriate.

You'd Thrive in This Role If You Have:

• Graduated from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or completed requirements to practice in the United States
• An active license in one or more of the states where Dutch operates
• A license in good standing with no malpractice or disciplinary actions
• 3+ years post-graduate clinical experience
• We provide heartworm tests, however, we do not do medical procedures. It is purely preventative care, wellness and vaccines.
• A personal vehicle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A collaborative, compassionate approach to care
• Comfort using telehealth tools and managing consults independently
• This position primarily requires weekend availability
