  • Identify contractual and commercial risks and escalate complex issues to the Contracts Lead while assisting in the development of practical risk mitigation strategies
  • Assist in improving contract templates, workflows, processes, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and compliance
  • Demonstrate a visible commitment to Teck's Health, Safety, Environment, and Community standards and maintain compliance with the Code of Ethics
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Red Dog Operations and business processes to effectively support operational requirements

Experience with contract drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and administration is preferred
  • Working knowledge of commercial contracting principles, procurement processes, contract administration practices, and the ability to interpret commercial terms, insurance requirements, and contract language
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate commercial risk and develop practical solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and meeting established deadlines
