Position Overview:

Great projects start with strong agreements. Help shape both at UES.

UES is seeking a Contracts Manager in Kennesaw, GA, who can turn complex contract language into clear, practical business decisions. If you enjoy negotiating terms, solving problems, and helping teams move projects forward with confidence, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

You’ll manage contracts from initial review and negotiation through administration and closeout, including professional service agreements, subcontracts, NDAs, purchase orders, and amendments. Working closely with legal counsel, finance, project teams, and senior leadership, you’ll identify risks, clarify obligations, and develop agreements that protect the company while supporting strong client relationships and successful project delivery.

Beyond individual agreements, you’ll help improve how contracting gets done—strengthening templates, simplifying workflows, tracking key commitments, and giving colleagues the guidance they need to make informed decisions.

We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Contract Management, or a related field and at least five years of contract management or administration experience, preferably in engineering, environmental, construction, or professional services. Strong negotiation skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail will help you succeed.

Bring your expertise to a role where your decisions help turn project opportunities into solid agreements.

  • Collaborate with project managers, business development, and legal counsel to identify and mitigate contractual risks.
  • Maintain a centralized contracts database or tracking system to monitor key terms, renewals, deliverables, and compliance obligations.
  • Interpret contract language and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on terms, obligations, and potential impacts.
  • Support pre-award and post-award contract activities, including proposal review, bid coordination, and contract closeout.
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of contract templates, processes, and workflows.
  • Coordinate with finance and operations to ensure accurate billing terms, project setup, and revenue recognition alignment.
  • Train and support staff on contract policies and procedures.
  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting contracting practices.
