Design, build, wire, and troubleshoot electrical control panels and instrumentation systems for R&D and industrial test facilities.
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot LabVIEW-based control and data acquisition systems; integrate sensors, VFDs, control valves, and field devices.
Support startup, commissioning, and shakedown of electrical and instrumentation systems in advanced research environments.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and instrumentation drawings for installation, testing, and operation.
Develop and maintain system documentation including panel layouts, I/O lists, calibration records, and test procedures.
Essential Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience building, commissioning, or maintaining industrial control systems, instrumentation, or laboratory test equipment; Associate degree, technical certification, trade school, or military technical training in electrical controls, automation, instrumentation, or mechatronics required.
Proven experience programming and troubleshooting National Instruments LabVIEW applications and data acquisition systems.
Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams; experience integrating instrumentation, sensors, VFDs, heaters, and control valves into control systems.
