We're looking for a hands-on Controls Technician to join our Technical Services team. If you enjoy troubleshooting electrical, automation, or control systems and solving technical challenges, this could be the role for you.
Qualifications & Experience:What You'll Do:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair ride control and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot PLCs, automation equipment, electrical components, and networking systems
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on rides and attractions
- Read schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance procedures
- Partner with Ride Maintenance Technicians to ensure attractions operate safely and efficiently
- Document work through our maintenance management system
- Support special events and attraction technology across the park
What We're Looking For:
- Electrical, controls, automation, maintenance, industrial, or technical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Outlook, and Teams
- Willingness to learn new technologies and systems
Bonus Skills:
- PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff)
- Industrial networking
- Audio/visual systems
- IT or networking experience
