Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. This position will manage financial records, ensure accurate reporting, support business decisions, and help maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure accurate payroll, tax records, and other financial documentation as needed.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide reports and recommendations to management.
- Supervise, train, and support accounting staff as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounting, financial management, or a Controller role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
