    Description

     Job Description:

    The Controller will lead all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, inventory control, cost accounting, and cash flow management for a manufacturing and retail organization. This role requires strong experience in manufacturing finance, ERP systems, and regulatory compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely monthly/annual closings.
    • Manage standard costing, manufacturing variance analysis, and inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic initiatives.
    • Monitor cash flow and working capital; oversee AP/AR.
    • Ensure ERP accuracy for production and financial data.
    • Supervise and develop a high-performing finance team.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred).
    • 6+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ in a leadership role.
    • A background in manufacturing or retail is required.
    • Strong skills in cost accounting, ERP systems, and financial modeling.
