Care Lync is a Social Services agency focused on providing Support Coordination (Service Coordination/Case Management) services to adults diagnosed with Intellectual, Developmental and Physical Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout Pennsylvania who are enrolled in the Department of Human Services, Medicaid Waiver Program. Position Summary: The Corporate Controller is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance. This individual ensures the integrity of financial processes, develops strategies for optimizing financial performance, and provides leadership to the accounting team. Key Responsibilities:Financial Management & ReportingOversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements.Internal Controls & ComplianceDevelop, implement, and maintain robust internal control policies to safeguard company assets.Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate policies, and external audits.Coordinate internal and external audit processes, responding to findings and implementing improvements as necessary.Team LeadershipManage and mentor the accounting team, promoting professional development and team growth.Establish clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the finance team.Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to provide financial insights and support.Strategic Financial PlanningSupport the CFO and financial analyst in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Evaluate and manage financial risks, including currency exchange, credit, and liquidity risks.Systems & ToolsOversee the maintenance and enhancement of accounting systems and software.Implement financial technology solutions to streamline reporting and data analysis. Qualifications:Education & Certification:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation (required).Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field (preferred). Experience:5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role required.Experience in public accounting or working with publicly traded companies is highly desirable.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance standards.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.Familiarity with financial planning tools and ERP systems.
