Job Details

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, cost management, and regulatory compliance within a complex, project-driven organization.


Key Responsibilities

Lead monthly and annual financial close, reporting, and variance analysis.

Manage and develop accounting teams across general accounting, billing, payroll, and accounts payable.

Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and government contracting regulations.

Oversee revenue recognition, project cost accounting, labor allocations, and contract profitability.

Coordinate financial audits, tax filings, and required cost submissions.

Manage cash flow forecasting and support indirect cost rate development.

Improve accounting systems, automate workflows, and strengthen financial processes.


Qualifications

Experience leading an accounting or finance team.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls.

Experience with government contracting, compliance audits, and project-based accounting.

Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
