• Direct the monthly close and financial reporting process.
• Lead and mentor AP, GL, and budgeting/reporting teams.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset accounting.
• Manage grant allocations, program expense allocations, and intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate audit preparation and external audit support.
• Support ongoing accounting integration initiatives following a merger.

Qualifications for the Controller:

• Nonprofit accounting experience, including grant and program expense allocations.
• Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• Strong month-end close and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset schedules.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookup and conditional formulas.
