    Description

    Our client is looking for a skilled Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset.


    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

    • Prepare financial statements, reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

    • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.

    • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and audits.

    • Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.

    • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and support business initiatives.

    • Evaluate and implement accounting software or systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

    • 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.

    • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards.

    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
