The Controller serves as the senior accounting leader for Axia Women's Health and is responsible for the integrity of the organization's financial reporting, accounting operations, treasury activities, and internal control environment. Reporting to the CFO, this role partners closely with Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, Operations, and executive leadership to ensure accurate reporting, scalable processes, and strong financial governance across a rapidly growing, private equity-backed healthcare organization.
The Controller will lead a high-performing accounting team while serving as a strategic business partner across the organization. This individual will bring deep technical accounting expertise, healthcare industry experience, and a proven ability to support growth, drive process improvements, and deliver meaningful financial insights in a complex, multi-site environment.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations.
Proven experience leading month-end close, annual audits, and multi-entity consolidations.
Demonstrated ability to lead change, improve processes, and scale accounting infrastructure to support growth.
Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Experience partnering with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Proficiency with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, process automation, and dashboard development.
Working knowledge of multi-state entity management, business filings and registrations, and coordination with registered agents and financial vendors.
Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing accounting teams in a fast-paced environment.
