Controller Position

I'm currently partnered with a multi-million-dollar manufacturing organization near West Dundee, IL, that is looking to add a Controller to their team! Reporting directly to the CFO, this will be a hands-on role with exposure to all aspects of the business and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. The Controller will be responsible for consolidating multiple entities, overseeing the accounting process, and helping management gain a better understanding of financial performance across the business.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Lead the consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities.
• Review financial results across the various businesses and provide insights into performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner closely with senior leaders to support financial planning, analysis, and strategic business decisions.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, streamline processes, and increase operational efficiency.
• Provide broad oversight and support across Finance, IT, and HR functions as needed.
• Take a hands-on approach to problem-solving while maintaining a broader perspective on the company's financial and operational performance.
• Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong ERP/accounting system experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• 5+ years of leadership/management experience
• Solid understanding of AI and its business applications
• Multi-entity and/or multi-subsidiary accounting experience
• Strong accounting and finance background
