Pay Range: $50 - $53/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:- Shift: Sunday–Thursday overnight shift, 10 PM – 6 AM
- Provide hands-on support for PLC, controls logic, NC/CNC, and HMI systems.
- Program and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs, including Step 7 and TIA Portal.
- Troubleshoot electrical and automation issues to minimize production downtime.
- Support and modify KUKA and FANUC robots, gantries, and automated equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Configure and troubleshoot sensors, actuators, and industrial control devices.
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Provide technical support to maintenance and production teams.
- Complete shift handoff and end-of-shift documentation.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- Key Skills;“Controls Engineer”, " Automation Engineer", " Siemens" , " PLC" , " TIA Portal" , “KUKA” , “FANUC”,” Manufacturing” , “Automotive”.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
- 5–7 years of controls engineering, industrial automation, or manufacturing experience.
- Strong Siemens PLC experience, preferably Step 7 / TIA Portal.
- Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting experience.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing/plant/shop-floor environment.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, automated equipment, and industrial controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and work independently.
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- Allen-Bradley PLC experience
- KUKA/FANUC robotics
- CNC/NC programming
- Ethernet/IP, Modbus, or Profibus
- Important: This is a highly hands-on plant-floor role. Candidates with primarily project/design/office-based engineering experience and limited hands-on troubleshooting experience will not be a strong fit.
