Controls Engineering Internship

The working term for this position will be from May2027 through August2027.

Location:Onsite at our Nashville, TNfacility.

As aControls Engineering Intern,you willassistand support other Controls Engineers. Learn from some of the most dedicated and technically competent engineers in the Automation Industry.JR Automation drives change by learning and innovating faster than anyone else.As a member of a projectteam,you’llwork alongside our Applications, Controls, Mechanical, and Build teams tosupportthedesign, build, program, and deployment ofcustom automated equipment.

WhatYou’llDo:

• Requires a willingness to learn and the ability to be flexible.

• Expected that many tasks asked will be learning experiences, and experienced team members will provide proper instruction.

• Expected to make positive contributions to the company in response to the training provided.

• Performs routine technical work which does not requirepreviousexperience.

• Learn and perform basic programming skills.

WhatYou’llBring:

• High School graduate, or equivalent.

• Currentlyenrolled in an accredited college program pursuing an engineering degree.

SkillsYou’llHave:

• Basicproficiencyin CAD.

• Basic knowledge of electrical/pneumatic schematic drawing packages.

• Basicproficiencyin programming languages. 

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Computer literacy in Excel, Word,andOutlook.
