Job Description:

- Designs and commissions systems of electrical and fluid controls for a variety of applications including welders, robots, assembly, conveyance and transfer systems.
- Applies knowledge, principles and techniques in engineering and computer science to develop software system programming and documentation.
- Facilitates build process by troubleshooting connection issues.
- Commissions and debugs equipment at build shop and/or end user sites.
- This is a professional position, requiring resource management skills to direct and monitor tasks of others.
- Must be capable of making autonomous decisions based on experience and project requirements.
Skills:
- Debug and clean up current PLC programs.
- Provide production support for part runs.
- Work with the team to provide solutions for error proofing and improvements.
- Provide feedback regarding progress and roadblocks to management.
- Troubleshoot peripherals and PLC applications when needed.
- Clean up alarms and HMI indicators according to the Ford standard.
- Run the GVOSS compare file to ensure the standard is followed.
- Collaborate with other team members to support them when needed.
- Troubleshoot Rockwell Automation VFD's or Drives.
