    Controls Systems Technician – Anchorage, AK – $52,000–$70,000 + Company Vehicle + ESOP

    About the Opportunity:

    This company is a trusted provider of Building Automation and Energy Management solutions throughout Alaska and is seeking a talented Controls Systems Technician to join their Anchorage team.     Position Details:

    • Title: Controls Systems Technician
    • Location: Anchorage, AK (approx. 15% travel to remote sites)
    • Status: Full-Time
    • Work Split: 50% Office / 50% Field

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Building Automation Systems (BAS)
    • Program, update, and rewrite sequences for energy management platforms
    • Perform commissioning, functional testing, and point-to-point verification
    • Install, terminate, and test BAS wiring and related field devices
    • Work with graphical front-end systems such as Tridium or Automated Logic
    • Assist with parts ordering and support field installation crews
    • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients during site visits
    • Deliver reliable technical support and maintain clear communication with end users

    Ideal Candidate:

    • 2+ years of experience as a BAS or Controls Technician
    • Proficient with commissioning, controls programming, and graphics development
    • Familiar with Tridium-based systems and Automated Logic controls
    • Able to diagnose and correct both hardware and software-related issues
    • Comfortable traveling to remote Alaska job sites when needed (flights provided)
    • Team-oriented and confident working with contractors and facility operators
