Position Details:
- Title: Controls Systems Design Engineer
- Location: Anchorage, AK
- Status: Full-Time | 85% Office / 15% Field
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Building Automation System (BAS) architecture using AutoCAD or MS Visio
- Write detailed Sequences of Operation for new and retrofit BAS projects
- Create project design documentation and prepare complete submittal packages
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Build accurate Bills of Materials and support equipment procurement
- Work closely with project managers, field technicians, and programmers to ensure smooth execution
- Assist with pricing, quantity takeoffs, and vendor communications
- Provide limited troubleshooting or programming support as required
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience as a Controls Design Engineer or similar role
- Working knowledge of Tridium Niagara systems preferred
- Strong familiarity with BAS hardware, software, and documentation standards
- Team-focused with the ability to manage multiple ongoing design projects
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills

- Salary: $60,000–$85,000 (Equivalent to $30–$41/hr)
