Conversion Lead 2Nd Shift (ID #531612)

JOB SUMMARY:

Leads all shift employees to ensure compliance with all Airtech International, Inc.'s policies while directing manufacturing production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Leads all manufacturing personnel and machine operations on the shift.

2. Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.

3. Reports on any process and equipment problems. Calls the Plant Supervisor for assistance with problems that require assistance.

4. Reviews training progress reports.

5. Organizes work for smooth operations.

6. Ensures that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed.

7. Verifies correct identification, weights, and warehousing of products.

8. Distributes plant status reports and instructions to the next shift.

9. Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity standards on the shift.

10. Communicates production status with the planning office.

11. Troubleshoots problems.

12. Must have passed yearly forklift certification testing.

13. Notifies supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.

14. Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.
