What we need…An application analyst to provide support and quality assurance in our Conversions software group. In this role you will be creating specifications, managing projects and working with internal teams to convert clients to a core processing system. Working within Agile methodologies, you'll collaborate with software developers, product owners and other analysts to ensure clients successfully transition to our financial technology products. Bachelor's degree preferred but will consider relevant certifications and/or work experience.Experience with PL/SQL and relational databases preferredExperience in banking or financial services a plus; experience with lending software is preferredAbility to read, analyze and interpret banking principles, procedures and regulations.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both orally and in writingAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environmentSelf-starter, ability to take initiativeStrong organizational skillsAbility to adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate complex thoughts in simpler termsAbility to provide basic written technical specifications

What you'll do …

Analyze data provided from multiple source systems for new client conversion, merger or acquisitionDocument, design, and create specifications for use by conversion teamsReview and balance converted data to ensure accuracyEnsure documentation from respective source vendors is updated and retained for future referenceSupport all facets of the application mix being implemented for the new clientAnalyze client problems resulting in design or conversion flaws and proposes solutionsWork with developers on possible needed re-design or follow-up testingAct as liaison between business teams and technical teamsAnalyze data, balance and perform validation for deconversionsUse AI-assisted tools to accelerate data mapping, PL/SQL query development, and analysis of source system dataLeverage generative AI to draft, refine, and standardize conversion specifications and technical documentation, reviewing all output for accuracyApply AI-powered validation and anomaly detection techniques to improve the speed and accuracy of data balancing and QAHelp identify opportunities to embed AI into conversion workflows and share best practices with the team

The salary range for this position is $70,000-105,800 annually. This is a hybrid role in Southington, CT
