Converting Operator – 2nd Shift

Nesco Resource is now hiring for a 2nd Shift Converting Operator position at a local facility in Lenoir, NC. Candidates will train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

The Converting Operator is responsible for converting wide rolls of industrial films and fabrics into specific widths and tightly wound spools while maintaining quality and production standards.

Job Description and Requirements

• Operate slitter and converting machinery safely and efficiently.

• Convert wide rolls of film and fabric into required widths and specifications.

• Perform precision cutting and width adjustments according to production requirements.

• Set up machines and complete product and material changeovers.

• Inspect finished materials for defects and ensure quality standards are met.

• Take accurate measurements and maintain required tolerances.

• Monitor materials and equipment throughout the production process.

• Provide production line support and maintain an organized work area.

• Follow all established safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.

• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Training Shift: 1st Shift – Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Regular Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

Important: Candidates must be available to train on 1st shift before transitioning to the regular 2nd shift schedule.
