    Job Description

    Position Overview

    The Cook 1 is responsible for preparing, setting up, and executing high-quality menu items across designated outlets. This role upholds culinary standards, plating specifications, cleanliness, and food safety while contributing to a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment.

    What You’ll Do

    Prepare and execute menu items and specials according to standards and business levels

    Maintain full knowledge of recipes, station setup, and kitchen equipment

    Ensure proper sanitation, organization, and safety compliance at all times

    Set up and stock stations to ensure seamless service

    Collaborate with Chefs on assignments, prep needs, and service flow

    Support inventory management and cost-control efforts

    Assist with menu development, tastings, and continuous improvement initiatives

    Train and mentor junior team members as needed

    What You Bring

     

    3+ years of experience in a fast-paced culinary environment

    Culinary school training (preferred)

    Valid Food Handler certification

    Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards

    Ability to scale recipes and execute consistently

    Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

    Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
