SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a dependable and experienced cook to join our vibrant school dining team in Dallas, TX. In this fast-paced, team-oriented environment, you'll play a vital role in helping us serve over 1,300 students and staff fresh, high-quality meals every day.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you'll run a hot food station with care, ensuring every dish is properly cooked, portioned, and beautifully presented. You'll keep your station clean and well-stocked, communicate seamlessly with your teammates, and jump in wherever needed to support prep, cleaning, and other kitchen tasks.
The ideal candidate brings previous kitchen or food service experience, strong multitasking abilities, and a can-do spirit. You should be detail-oriented, punctual, and a team player who thrives in a collaborative setting.

Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests' expectations.
Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).
Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
