Job Summary

Mélange is looking for a reliable, hardworking part-time cook to join our kitchen team. We have a small menu and are seeking someone who can prepare dishes consistently, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and work efficiently during busy service hours. Candidates with or without professional cooking experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards.

• Complete food preparation and kitchen setup before service.

• Maintain food quality, consistency, and proper presentation.

• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary.

• Follow food safety and proper food-handling procedures.

• Monitor ingredients and notify management when supplies are running low.

• Work efficiently with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workstations.

Qualifications

• Available to work weekends.

• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.

• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Willing to learn and follow instructions.

• Previous cooking experience is preferred but not required.

• Positive attitude and good teamwork skills.
