Cook Healthcare - Katy Texas

Food Management Group is looking for a dependable Cook to join our food service team. This position prepares meals for patients, employees, and guests under the direction of the Food Service Director.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals using approved menus, recipes, and portion guidelines.

• Have meals ready for scheduled service times.

• Follow food safety procedures and instructions for special diets and allergies.

• Check and record food temperatures.

• Assist with meal service and keep the kitchen clean and organized.

• Work cooperatively with the food service team.

Qualifications:

• Previous commercial or institutional cooking experience preferred.

• Ability to follow recipes and written and verbal instructions.

• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation.

• Dependable attendance and a willingness to work as part of a team.

Must pass criminal background and drug test.

Must have transportation

Must be ready for immediate hire pending background and drug test.
