The venue features stunning views of the Houston skyline, all set in a laid-back, high-energy atmosphere. Guests can step off the course and into Birdies Icehouse to enjoy house-made burgers, fresh tacos, ice-cold beer, and handcrafted cocktails. Whether celebrating a big win or just soaking in the vibe, Birdies is where great food, great views, and great times come together.

We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact specifications. Line cook duties will include setting up service stations, assisting the Manager with daily tasks, and more. The successful candidate will play a key role in Creating Remarkable Memories for our Guests.

Responsibilities

·Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

·Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)

·Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

·Answer, report and follow the Manager’s instructions

·Clean up the station and properly store leftover food

·Stock Line Amounts appropriately

·Ensure that all Plates come out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

·Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

·Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements

·Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment use and procedures

·Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

·Familiar with industry’s best practices
