Your Role as a Dynamic Cook

• Prepare and cook menu items following Silverlake Ramen’s precise recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Cook noodles to exact timing and assemble ramen bowls accurately every time.
• Prep ingredients such as proteins, vegetables, eggs, and sauces according to prep lists.
• Work efficiently at assigned stations during busy hours and communicate clearly with your team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station, equipment, and walk-in storage.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes and standards exactly and work quickly in a hot, fast-paced kitchen.
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen safety protocols.
• Texas Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for full shifts of 8+ hours.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year experience as a line cook or prep cook.
• Experience with Asian cuisine or ramen is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is beneficial.
