About the Role:
Fatima's Grill is looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team in Los Angeles, CA! If you love crafting delicious halal dishes and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, this is the perfect opportunity to bring your culinary talents to a beloved local grill.



Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook halal menu items to order with consistency and quality
• Follow halal food preparation standards and guidelines at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
• Monitor food inventory and assist with stocking and storage
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Adhere to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
• Assist with prep work including chopping, marinating, and seasoning

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Knowledge of halal dietary laws and food preparation standards is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
