St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center in Berlin, NH is looking for a per diem Cook to join our excellent team of professionals to help meet the nutritional needs of the people we serve.
St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Berlin, NH, is an 74-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are proud to be part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire’s continuum of care.
Job Responsibilities;
• Review menus prior to preparation of food
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from the nursing supervisor, when necessary
• Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
• Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as our established policies and procedures
• Assist in establishing food service production line, etc., to ensure that meals are prepared on time
• Assure that menus are maintained and filed in accordance with established policies and procedures
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
It will be your responsibility to ensure that food is prepared, cooked, and served with consideration for residents' individual needs.
Must possess at least one year’s experience in a health related or food service facility, preferably in a long term care setting
Prior food service experience is required;
ServSafe Certification is preferred.
You must be a self-starter, dependable and demonstrate not only outstanding customer service but compassion and patience for the residents you'll serve.
