Pay Range: $20-$23 DOE
FT ONLY
Responsibilities:
- Ability to make appropriate substitutions to menu when necessary and report such to dietary manager
- Ability to plan and organize time and food preparation to specified time
- Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment
- Review of tray card to assure that current food information is consistent with food served
- Assemble food trays according to diet and resident's food preferences as written on diet ticket
- Follow posted cleaning schedule utilizing proper sanitation and cleaning methods
- Follow infection control and safety measures
- Other duties as assigned by Cook or Dietary Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year cooking in retirement/hospitality environment
- Current Food Handlers Card
- Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
