Responsibilities•Diagnose and management of non-malignant blood disorders such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, and clotting or bleeding conditions.•Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans based on clinical presentation, laboratory findings, and patient goals•Collaborate with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.•Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging.•Provide clear, compassionate communication about diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and prognosis.•Document all patient interactions and clinical decisions in the electronic medical record (EMR).•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging treatments, guidelines, and technologies through continuing medical education and professional development.•Participate in clinical trials or research initiatives aimed at improving surgical outcomes and techniques (if applicable).
