Main responsibilities of a COOK

A Five Guys cook grills every burger juicy and well-done dresses various sandwiches neatly and fries Idaho potatoes to perfection every time. This job pushes individuals to mastery in each individual position over a training period of 3-4 weeks. Each position overlaps with next teaching a motivated cook to multi-task and cooperate with their team. While cooking and preparing meals a motivated cook will also be responsible for maintaining a clean stocked kitchen while also creating an energetic atmosphere for the customers. Experience in food service is always beneficial but not required. Being team-oriented and a strong problem solver are essential traits for this position.

• Ability to work at a fast pace. Our kitchens have a ton of energy on-the-line communication and job rotation. Its not for everybody.
