Perkins Management Services is seeking a Cook for the campus of the University of District Columbia. **Job Description**  
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and be capable of following directions and multitasking effectively.

We are looking for candidates who will:  
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create diverse menus that align with both client and company policies and vision.
- Properly handle, store, and rotate all products.
- Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours, ensuring that the excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of the food are maintained.
- Produce high-quality dishes that adhere to the established menu and meet the location's standards as well as client requirements.
- Ensure that hygiene and food safety standards are met throughout all stages of food preparation, from the ingredients to the finished dish leaving the kitchen.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment, such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and griddles.
- Keep the work area neat and clean at all times, and clean and maintain equipment used in food preparation.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with coworkers and customers.
- Follow and communicate instructions from the Executive or Sous Chef.

**Job Requirements**:  
- **Experience**: At least 2 years of experience as a cook.  
- **Certifications**: SERV Safe certification is required.
