Coord Retail Pharmacy Technician

Overview

Manages pharmacy technicians and assists with departmental operations.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required

License, Certification and/or Registration: Must be registered with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician, and registration must be in good standing. National certification with PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) or ExCPT (Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians) is required. In the case of PTCB or ExCPT renewal, "active" status must be attained within 30 days of the expiration of the current certification (this provides a 30-day grace period for the employee).

Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.Must have thorough understanding of all basic pharmacy technician job responsibilities.
