Coordinator Billing Scheduler - Full Time - Days

Infusion coordination at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center means bringing fresh hope to the region’s highest acuity patients and their families. You'll provide clinical coordination for the highest level of care for some of the most complex patient cases, as our hospital is a premier destination for infusion services.

Bring your smartest and most creative thinking self to this highly visible operations role, building reports and developing new metrics to track scheduling efficiencies. Provide thoughtful and insightful coordination to our administrative scheduling function in a high-volume patient setting. Here you'll partner with the Columbia physician practice, providing strategic scheduling to ensure an optimal patient experience. In this role, you will be integral to the successful operations of the center. 

 

This is a day shift position working Monday - Friday. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.

 

Preferred Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Strong organization and communication skills

• Epic Cadence experience

• Outpatient scheduling experience

• Adaptive to evolving departmental needs

• Ability to multi-task in cross-functional team environment

 

Required Criteria

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience

• Experience with Electronic office procedures including scheduling software

• Experience in Software applications, internet procedure, and web-based applications

$66,300-$89,000/Annual
