Employment Terms: This is a full time, benefited position FLSA Exempt in the Student Affairs Division that reports to the Director of Career Services.
Minimum Qualifications (Job Code 11213): Bachelor’s degree in a related field *and* Two (2) years related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Specific experience in employment services; career/job development; experience instructing and/or counseling diverse population. Work experience in a related field at the postsecondary level. Excellent human relation skills and the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, administrators, employers. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Competence in program planning, marketing, organizing and training. Ability to use electronic word processing, spreadsheets, Internet search engines and specialized Career Services Management software. Ability to interact with employers and serve as liaison for the College regarding student employment and workforce preparedness issues.
Job Description Summary:
The Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of the career and employment activities, performs other institutional assignments delegated by the Director of Career Services, and represents the College on regular or assigned duties. The duties include but are not limited to the following: administration, operation and supervision of the program for development of off-campus employment opportunities (part-time and full-time) for students and alumni. The Coordinator also collects and documents employment data; develops outreach and educational programming for the Career Services Center; provides a college-wide student employment referral system; and provides access to career resources, workshops, and group or individual assistance to aid students in becoming more employable. This person will be responsible for assisting our Computer Science and Public and Professional programs
