Description
Position Summary
The Maintenance Control Coordinator is responsible for supporting and assisting the Maintenance Controllers and Duty Managers. This Coordinator will provide administrative duties including email communications, set up of conference calls and data collection for daily reports.
Essential Responsibilities
Execute and distribute all Maintenance Control reporting
Execute itinerary for all recovery road trips
Support logistical travel and expense reporting as required
Execute delay notification, reconcile delay coding and enter Contract Business Partner (BP) Log pages in TRAX
At the direction of Maintenance Controller Center (MCC), set up of conference calls
At the direction of MCC, prepare the reports for the Daily Tech Ops Meeting
Capture follow ups from the Daily Tech Ops Meeting and maintain database with updates
Collect operational data through various channels and provide oversight to ensure the Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) System is accurately tracking delays and cancellations for Tech Ops Performance. Measurement coordinate with other departments such as Engineering, Planning and System Ops for required information upon request from Duty Managers
Relieve Duty Manager of administrative duties including but not limited to follow up emails, setting up meetings and incoming and outgoing phone calls
Document statistical information during Irregular Operations (IROPs) as per Duty Manager request
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
One (1) year of experience working in a customer service or operations role
Experience creating and utilizing data analytics
Experience with Microsoft Excel platform for developing and reporting metrics
Strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing information quickly
Ability to work independently, under minimal supervision, in a team environment
Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
One (1) year of experience in Aviation
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant License
Knowledge in Sabre Movement Control and TRAX

Regular attendance and punctuality
Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
Able to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation
The base pay range for this position is between $29.62 and $39.90 per hour. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
