We're looking for an organized and detail-oriented Coordinator Marketing Events to join our team in Opelousas, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing events that drive brand awareness and engagement. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure every event runs smoothly and achieves its marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences that resonate with our target audience.
- Plan and coordinate marketing events from conception through execution, including conferences, trade shows, product launches, and promotional activities
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, catering arrangements, and equipment setup
- Develop and maintain event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards
- Create and implement marketing strategies to promote events through multiple channels, including social media, email campaigns, and digital platforms
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and event attendees to ensure clear expectations and seamless coordination
- Organize event materials, including promotional collateral, signage, and branded merchandise
- Collect and analyze event metrics and attendee feedback to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain detailed event timelines, checklists, and documentation to ensure nothing is overlooked
- Coordinate with the marketing team to align event activities with broader marketing campaigns and organizational goals
- Handle on-site event management, including registration, attendee check-in, and real-time problem-solving
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or a related field
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in event management software and marketing tools
- Experience with social media management and digital marketing platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and track expenses
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with vendor management and negotiation
- Ability to think creatively and customize event experiences for different audiences
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Preferred: Experience with CRM or marketing automation platforms
- Preferred: Basic graphic design or content creation skills
- Preferred: Experience analyzing event ROI and marketing metrics
