Description

We are looking for a Coordinator / Trainer in New York. It will pay between $36,000 and $45,000 / year, depending on experience. 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops and implements training materials.
  • Develops training schedules based on the evaluation of the need for new staff and subcontractor personnel.
  • Establishes and communicates the training methodologies for staff.
  • Provides training to both Central Office and Regional Staff on an initial and ongoing basis.
  • Ensures that Enrollment Counselors are provided with updated knowledge of the program, community resources, and options for clients.
  • Communicates operating policies and procedures for both Central and Field Office operations in compliance with contractual agreement.
  • Develops training manuals through input and communication with the State and City agencies operating the Program.
  • Recommends changes to policies and procedures in compliance with contract.
  • Arranges (in coordination with other managers) staff training on a regular and ongoing basis regarding telephone protocols and Central Office project information obtained through quality assurance monitoring.
  • Provides analysis of proposed policies to project management, as needed.
  • Provides the Project Manager with updates on all issues regarding quality, training, and policy and procedures.
  • Meets all standards established for this position as outlined in the corresponding annual performance criteria and bonus template for this position.
  • Performs other duties as required by the management.


  • College degree (advanced degree preferred), preferably in a health or social services field;
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience in a health or social services field;
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, performance monitoring, and basic research skills;
  • 2-4 years of training experience in a human services environment and/or instructional design and developing;
  • 1-2 Years of experience in Public Speaking;
  • Must be proficient in MS Office programs (i.e. Word, PowerPoint and Excel); 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to interact courteously and effectively with a variety of people;
