Copy Writer - Sr

Title: Copy writer 
Duration: 10 Months 
Location: Richmond, VA/ Chicago, IL/ Mclean, VA
Pay Rate: $40 - $45 hr. W2 

Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team. This role will involve creating compelling and clear communication materials that align with our brand's voice and values.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience (3 years) and a strong portfolio; or military experience.
3+ years Copywriting or creative writing 
Good understanding of you know editorial style and concise direct marketing language for the writers.
Portfolio - examples of like that more short form marketing type work. Such as email landing pages, more like direct-to-consumer messaging, and direct mail if they have experience in physical space.
Proven experience in copywriting or creative writing within a professional setting, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, strategists, and marketing partners.
Ability to translate complex information into simple, accessible language.
Demonstrated flexibility and a proactive approach to evolving situations.

Background - in financial or regulated markets is essential to help them understand disclosures, legal requirements, etc. pharmaceutical and other highly regulated environments also work.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Develop a wide range of customer communications, including clear instructions and informative updates.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is aligned and effective.
Translate complex information into simple, accessible language for customers.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of brand voice and editorial standards.
Manage timelines, navigate processes, and proactively seek solutions under the guidance of a manager.
Produce high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail, meeting deadlines consistently.
