Freelance Copywriter for a Fashion Brand

$50.00 - 60.00 /  20-40 hours per week

A trendy fashion retailer specializing in feminine clothing, accessories, and jewelry for the modern woman is looking for an aligned copywriter. The company brand is known for its eclectic style, high-quality products, and dedication to helping women express their individuality.

Job Description:

We're seeking a talented freelance copywriter to join our clients team and help tell their brand story through engaging, fashion-forward content. As a copywriter, you'll be responsible for crafting compelling product descriptions, social media content, and marketing materials that capture the essence of our brand and resonate with our target audience.

Responsibilities:

- Write high-quality, engaging copy for various marketing channels, including product descriptions, social media, email campaigns, and blog posts

- Develop a deep understanding of our brand voice, tone, and style, and apply it across all content

- Collaborate with our marketing team to brainstorm and develop content ideas that drive sales and brand awareness

- Conduct research to stay up-to-date on fashion trends, industry developments, and consumer preferences

- Edit and refine content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably in the fashion industry

- Strong portfolio showcasing your writing style and versatility

- Excellent writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

- Deep understanding of fashion terminology and trends

- Ability to capture the brand's unique voice and tone

- Strong research skills and ability to stay current on industry developments

- Experience with SEO principles and keyword research a plus

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and content management systems (CMS) 

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team

Qualifications:

- Experience writing for a fashion or lifestyle brand

- Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation best practices

- Familiarity with content calendar management and planning
