What You'll Do as a Core Sample Processing Technician:- Receive, identify, and organize core samples delivered to the laboratory
- Split and prepare core samples according to testing procedures
- Weigh samples using precision scales and measurement equipment
- Label, package, and prepare samples for testing and analysis
- Enter sample information into computer tracking systems and maintain accurate records
- Clean and maintain workstations, equipment, and preparation areas
- Follow safety standards, quality procedures, and chain-of-custody requirements
What You Need to Bring to the Core Sample Processing Technician Role:- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements
- Previous laboratory, mining, manufacturing, or related experience is helpful but not required
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply
- Reliable transportation to the Hibbing area
